They’re the BDs (pronounced “beadies”), fresh from the hands & brain of Leslie Sirag, whose art crafts have been exhibited in shows & galleries from New York to California. Now working from her home in Washington State, Leslie produces these little charmers one at a time & each is an individual character who will never be duplicated, although the nature of the materials does mean that some pieces will be similar.

This fellow has a head lampworked in China. The orange beads in his middle are made by an artist in the US who sells on JustBeads, but I've lost her name (so sorry!).

The green beads are all Czech glass, his hands & feet are metal charms, & he hangs from a vintage silver bow pin.

This piece should be fine under normal wearing conditions. I would, however, keep it outside car shoulder belts, away from animals and small children, and out of bathtubs and swimming pools.
